Seeds&Chips – The Global Food Innovation Summit

Seeds&Chips – The Global Food Innovation Summit is a platform to bring leaders from across the global ecosystem together, including government, innovators, investors, companies, institutions and policymakers who wish to connect, collaborate and transform the food system for a more sustainable future. The Summit is the leading event providing a platform to address how the agrifood industry is meeting the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Now in its fifth year, Seeds&Chips Milan attracts more than 13,000 major food corporates and government decision-makers to discuss issues that affect the global food system.

2019 will be the first time the Summit has travelled to Australia.

Australian Food Awards

The Australian Food Awards (AFA) is Australia’s leading national food awards program, conducted by The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV). The AFA provides producers, large and small, broad opportunities to leverage success locally and internationally, the chance to benchmark their products, establish their food industry credentials and, for the award winners, the right to display the AFA seal of excellence to raise their products profile.

Brewcon
3-6 September, Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, Victoria

BrewCon and Trade Expo is the Australian brewing industry’s keystone event, bringing together a conference, trade expo and awards evening each year.

The seventh BrewCon will feature international speakers, seminars on business, technical brewing and supply chain, brewery tours, workshops and celebrations of excellence. The trade show provides a platform for the latest and best products and services on the market and enables the growing brewing industry in Australia to build strong networks and develop profitable businesses. On the Thursday evening of the conference the Indies, a national competition to celebrate the art and science of brewing, take place.

BrewCon is presented by the Independent Brewers Association (IBA).

Victorian Agribusiness Summit
5-7 September, Wangaratta, Victoria

A three-day celebration of innovation in agribusiness, the Victorian Agribusiness Summit is back for 2019 with the theme of Clever Agriculture, Smart Food. Victoria’s North-East region is centre of dynamic agribusiness change. The summit is a chance to meet the people leading the way, with every level of the supply chain represented, from producers to financiers and more. The event begins with a dinner on Thursday 5 September at Brown Brothers, Milawa, before the Summit on Friday in Wangaratta and a day of regional tours on Saturday.
